Barbara Tota-Boryczka

Executive Director

Basia arrived in the U.S.A. from Poland in 1998 and her adventure with the GO Family began in 2008 when she took over after the previous program director, Mary Piette. It is her pleasure to share her experience and knowledge from the part of the Europe where the Global Outreach exchange students are from. Prior to her work with GO, she worked with youth in a parish and as a high school teacher (in Poland). She was also an exchange student herself in 1995 at UW La Crosse. Her business, accounting, and counseling degrees as well as her previous work as a school counselor and current work as a therapist greatly help her in her work with the GO program.  Basia's passion is to work with other people, to serve them, and to help them grow. ​

Therese Vinz

Program Coordinator

Therese is retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Although her husband is deceased, his legacy lives on through their five children and eight grandchildren. Growing up in a large family, she was introduced to Global Outreach through her brother’s family in Neenah. Through their hosting experiences and involvement, she caught a glimpse of the beauty of this program. As Student Coordinator, she is able to do much of her work from home and is deeply grateful for the opportunity to now be a part of the Global Outreach family as well.

Fr. Kevin Ripley

Spiritual Director

Fr. Kevin grew up in Pulaski, WI, and first encountered GO when going on a few TEC retreats during high school in Green Bay. After graduating from engineering school, he followed the call of Jesus to be a priest. In 2020 he was ordained and served for three years at St. Raphael in Oshkosh. Then, in 2023, he was asked to become the director of the Kairos Year, which is for the first-year seminarians of the Diocese of Green Bay. Around that time, Fr. Kevin also was able to begin assisting GO as the Spiritual Director. He enjoys meeting dynamic, young Catholics from around the world and accompanying them spiritually. 

Dorothy Flees

Administrative Assistant

Dorothy joined the Global Outreach family in 2013, first as a host parent to a student from Hungary, followed by two additional years welcoming students from Poland and Lithuania. She served on the GO Board of Directors from 2013 to 2019 and has been the GO Administrative Assistant since July 2019.
