Global Outreach News

Welcome New Director Barbara Tota-Boryczka

My dear Global Outreach Friends:
It is a pleasure for me to introduce myself and to let you know that I am ready to start working as the Executive Director of the Global Outreach program. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to follow the great example of a very dedicated leader of the Global Outreach – Global Mom, Mary Piette.
My name is Barbara, but my family and friends are calling me Basia. I am just starting my new adventures with wonderful students from Europe and very special American families, who decided to share their life with others.
There are three main reasons why I would like to work for this wonderful exchange program. Global Outreach is a Catholic program and I am Catholic also. My religion, faith, and my participation in church are very important for me. The second reason is that Global Outreach is an international exchange program that links East Central Europe with the U.S.A. I am a person who understands these two cultures since I am linked to both of them. My nationality is Polish, but I am also an American citizen.
The third, and maybe the most important reason, is that this job is giving me an opportunity to work with young people. I believe that young people are able to change our world to make it a better place filled with peace, unity and the love of Jesus Christ. I am looking forward to meeting with all the new students who will arrive in America after summer camp.
I am eager to work with the whole Global Outreach family and look forward to meeting each of you personally. Together, let’s build a civilization of love.
Please contact me via my e-mail at: boryczkabb@sbcglobal.net. or via phone at: 920-540-3085.
